Police Charge 22-Year-Old After Stabbing

London police have charged a 22-year-old after a stabbing in the city's northeast end sent a male to hospital with minor injuries.

Police say it was just before 8am Saturday, when two men began arguing in a parking lot near Huron St. and Briarhill Ave.

Police say the argument continued into a nearby store when the suspect allegedly stabbed the other man with a knife. The male suspect was located and arrested in the area shortly after.

Police say the victim was uncooperative with officers, but it is believed the two men were known to each other.

22-year-old George Grebenchan of London has been charged with assault with a weapon and possession of weapon with purpose of committing crime.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
