Rash of Thefts in Highbury/Commissioners Area

Although thefts from vehicles occur all across the city, there's been a recent rash of them in the area of Highbury Ave. and Commissioners Rd. E..

London police report that since May 23, their mapping software identified a half-dozen incidents in a part of the city bounded by Jackson Rd., Commissioners Rd., Meadowgate Blvd. and Bradley Ave..

The suspect (pictured) is opening unlocked doors and stealing anything of value, including cash, identification and GPS devices.

Police remind everyone across the city to lock their vehicles and to report anything suspicious.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
