Police Identify Man Who Died Following Fire

London police are releasing the identity of a 39-year-old man who died after being pulled from a burning building on Langarth St. W.

Investigators say Christopher Joseph Manuel was pronounced dead at the hospital after being removed from the apartment building by firefighters around 11:30pm on Monday night.

An official cause of death has yet to be determined, but police say the incident is not considered to be suspicious.

The Ontario Fire Marshal, the West Region coroner and London Police Service Criminal Investigation Division attended the scene. Some are still there to determine the cause and origin of the fire.
