No Names To Be Released In Oxford Deaths

The OPP says no names will be released after one person was found dead and another seriously injured in Oxford County.

Investigators say they are not looking for anyone in connection to the incident and there is zero risk to public safety.

Officers were called to a home on Hwy. 19 between Ingersoll and Thamesford around 9:10am Tuesday morning.

One person was found dead inside the home with what police call "obvious signs of trauma." Another person was found with serious injuries. They were taken to hospital where they also died.

Post mortem exams were done at the London Health Sciences Centre.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
