Majors Pawed by Panthers

The London Majors suffered their second loss of the season, and second in a row, to the Panthers in Kitchener Thursday night.

The Panthers scored five runs in the seventh inning of the 6-2 win over the Majors.

Majors starter Corey Hammond was taken out after six and reliever Luis Cabrera took the loss, giving up four of the five runs in the seventh.

The Majors will be looking for payback on Friday night when the Panthers meet them at Labatt Park. Game time is 730pm. Half of ticket proceeds will benefit the work of The Salvation Army in London and area.
