Teen Clocked at 108 km/hr Over Limit

An Ingersoll teen lost his ride and his license after Oxford County OPP say they clocked him traveling at 108 km/hr over the posted speed limit.

Last Wednesday evening (June 3) officers spotted a car going at a high rate of speed on Hwy 19 east of 21st Line in Zorra Township. They say they clocked it at approximately 188 km/hr in an 80 km/hr zone. The 17-year-old behind the wheel had three young males as passengers. OPP charged the driver with racing a motor vehicle. They impounded his vehicle for seven days and seized and suspended his license.
