Man Accused Of Stabbing Child Makes Court Appearance

The London father charged with the attempted murder of his daughter has had his case put over until June 24.

The 38-year-old made a brief court appearance by video this morning.  Andrew Bruce Hill was wearing an orange jumpsuit, his hair disheveled and face unshaven, as he spoke softly to the judge.

Hill was arrested and charged on May 19 after a 5-year-old girl was stabbed multiple times in her home on Applegreen Grove, a cul-de-sac in the city's south end.

The child was rushed to hospital in critical condition. She has since recovered from her life-threatening injuries and was discharged on June 3.

The accused is banned from speaking to a long list of people, including his wife and children.
