Riverside Stabbing Victim Released From Hospital

The 29-year-old man attacked by a mob of as many as nine men outside his Riverside Dr. home has been released from hospital.

In the early morning hours of June 9, officers were called to 117 Riverside Dr. for a report of a serious assault.

The victim was found with life-threatening stab wounds and rushed to hospital in critical condition.

Police are still looking for a list of suspects in connection to the incident, but investigators believe the man knew his attackers.

Descriptions of two suspects have been released.

One suspect is described as being a male of possibly Hispanic origin, with a heavy set build, and about 5’6". He was wearing shorts.

The other is a black male with a thin goatee, about 30-35 years old, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
