Arrest Warrant Issued In Murder Investigation

Police have issued an arrest warrant in relation to the shooting death of 18-year-old Jeremy Ryan Cook in London.

The London Police Service says on Friday, the warrant was issued for Muhab Sultanaly Sultan, 23, of Calgary for second degree murder in Cook's death. Police are asking the public not to approach Sultan and to call 911 if he is seen.

Police say on Sunday, June 14, officers were responding to a disturbance in a parking lot at 1181 Highbury Ave. N, and were directed to 1365 Huron St. by citizens reporting gunfire in the area. Officers found Cook suffering from gunshot wounds at that location. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are also looking for a second suspect who is described as a black male with very short hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket or shirt, and a fitted hat.

A third individual was also seen by witnesses just prior to the incident. Police are asking this person to contact police.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
