Ricardo Duarte Jr. was hit by a Honda Civic as he rode his bike just after midnight Saturday, in the intersection of Bradley Ave. and Wellington Rd. The driver stayed at the scene and police say, while the investigation is ongoing, it's anticipated that no charges will be laid.
Friends say Duarte was a free spirit who loved to ride his BMX bike.
