Majors Lose 14-6 To Baycats

The London Majors suffered their second straight loss with a 14-6 defeat at the hands of the Baycats in Barrie.

The Majors now have a 9-8 record.

Majors outfielder Humberto Ruiz had three hits and scored once. Ccatcher Michael Ambrose, Cody Mombourquette, Brett Sabourin and Julio Guzman all had two hits each.

Adam Paish took the loss after giving up five earned runs on nine hits over four innings.

The Majors return to Labatt Park on Friday night to host the Burlington Bandits.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
