Man Murdered In Thames Centre

OPP now say a 51-year-old man found dead in Thames Centre was murdered.

Investigators were called to a Westminster Dr. address just after 11am on Thursday, June 25.

A man, later identified as Robert St. Denis, was found dead at the scene.

Police say an autopsy done at the London Health Sciences Centre determined the 51-year-old was murdered on the rural property. A cause of death has not been released.

No suspects have been named and police have yet to issue a suspect description.

Details surrounding the homicide remain scarce. Anyone with information is asked to contact OPP or CrimeStoppers.

The OPP is asking everyone in the area to look out for their own personal safety. People are being asked to lock all doors of their homes, lock their vehicles and report any suspicious activity in the area.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
