Pedestrian Killed In East London

An elderly man is dead after a collision between a pedestrian and van in east London on Saturday afternoon.

London police say they responded to the collision at the intersection of Dundas St. and Third St. at approximately 2:45pm.

Officials say the pedestrian, a 79-year-old man, was taken to hospital where died late Saturday night.

According to police, the male driver of the beige-coloured Oldsmobile van was not injured.

London police say they are still investigating.
