Former London Knight At Centre Of Sexual Assault Investigation

Chicago Blackhawks forward and former London Knight Patrick Kane is being investigated by Buffalo police for a possible sexual assault.

A report by the Buffalo News says a local Hamburg woman told police officers she was sexually assaulted by the NHL player over the weekend.

The report states that another police force has been called in to help with the investigation.

The 26-year-old has not been formally charged with any sex related crimes.

He grew up in Buffalo and owns a home in Hamburg.

This is not the first brush with the law for Kane, in 2009 he pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct when he and his cousin were accused of beating a taxi driver that August.

Kane played for the London Knights during the 2006-2007 season before being drafted first overall in the 2007 entry draft.
