Two Dead In Norfolk County Crash

OPP say two people are dead after a motorcycle and pick up truck collided in Norfolk County.

Police were called to the area of Brantford Rd. and Teeterville Rd. around 7 last night.

Investigators say a motorcyclist was heading southbound on Brantford Rd. when it hit a pick up truck heading westbound on Teeterville Rd.

The man driving the motorcycle , 54-year-old Kenneth Haviland of Norfolk County, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The passenger in the pick up truck, 74-year-old Patricia Menard-Williams of Woodstock, was also pronounced dead at the scene.

OPP say the motorcyclist was travelling with others on bikes, none of them were hurt in the crash. The 80-year-old driver of the pick up truck was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing. Charges are pending.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
