Accused Identified In Murder Investigation

A 41-year-old Sarnia man is charged with first degree murder.

Sarnia police arrested Marshall Jay Scott Maness Saturday in connection with the death of 42-year-old Raynold Fisher of Sarnia.

Fisher was found unconscious last Wednesday evening at Vidal and Clifford streets. Police say he had been ejected from an ATV and died in London hospital the following day.

The Traffic Branch initially investigated the incident with assistance from the Criminal Investigations Branch.

Sarnia police say officers later received information that turned the crash into a suspicious death investigation.

Constable Les Jones says the investigation is continuing and Marshall Jay Scott Maness remains in custody.
