London Woman Facing Impaired Driving Charge In Conservation Area Case

A 27-year-old London woman has been charged with impaired and dangerous driving after allegedly ramming a truck into a tent shelter at the Falls Reserve Conservation Area near Benmiller.

Huron Ontario Provincial Police officials say it was around 3 a.m. on Saturday when a GMC Terrain sports utility vehicle drove into a Toyota Venza parked at an adjacent campsite. The Venza then struck a tent shelter where three people were sleeping. No one was injured.

Police say the driver was then transported to the Huron OPP Detachment where she failed two breath tests.

The accused, 27-year-old Courtney Jamieson, will answer to the charges in Goderich on October 5th.
