Huron OPP Investigate Fatal Motorcycle Collision

Huron County OPP are investigating a fatal incident involving a motorcycle over the weekend.

Police say a citizen found a motorcycle and its rider in a cornfield around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Police and Huron EMS went to the field on Goshen Line and Mill Road in the Municipality of Bluewater and found the motorcyclist had been there from some time. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say it appears the motorcycle was north on Goshen Line approaching Mill Road when it went through the intersection and collided with the "T" intersection sign.

The bike and its rider came to rest in a corn field north of the intersection.

The operator has been identified as 21-year-old Zackary James MacLean of Goderich.
