Mulcair Coming To London

A week after Stephen Harper paid a campaign visit to London, Tom Mulcair will do the same.

The NDP leader will visit the city on Wednesday to make a policy announcement regarding jobs and manufacturing. He will tour ScienceTech Inc. in the morning then speak with reporters.

Mulcair has been making the economy a central issue in recent campaign stops. At a stop in Hamilton on Tuesday morning, he pledged to cut the small business tax rate to nine per cent from 11 per cent.

He also said he would raise taxes on large corporations. Mulcair says an NDP government would deliver a balanced budget in its first year of office, but has not yet released the full cost of the party's platform.
