Missing Woman Found

Police say a missing 35-year-old woman from Simcoe has been found safe and sound.

The Ontario Provincial Police says Louanne Dearden was last seen on Wednesday around 12:30am, from her Simcoe home. Family members became concerned after not being able to locate her.

A plea to the public was put out late Wednesday night and she was found early Thursday morning in the area of Churchill St. and Donly Dr.

She has returned to her family.

Police would like the thank the public for their role in this missing persons case.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
