Police Find Human Ashes During Drug Bust

London police are hoping to find the owner of an urn discovered during a drug bust on Simcoe St.

The human ashes were found on May 27 of 2015 when officers raided a home on Simcoe St. A total of five people were arrested on drug-related charges. Investigators seized meth, marijuana and diazepam from the home.

The person at the home had no idea what the urn was or an explanation for having it.

It is believed a tag on the urn is associated with people who passed away in the mid 1990s. There are no other markings on the wood box. It measures 1'x1'.

"There is no indication as to who owns it or how it was acquired," London police tell BlackburnNews.com.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or CrimeStoppers.
