London Man Charged In Stabbing

A London man has been charged after another man suffered stab wounds to his upper body and face.

The London Police Service says on Saturday just before 6pm, the 35-year-old man was stabbed in the area of Horton St. E and Maitland St.  A 35-year-old woman also suffered a minor cut to her hand during the assault.

Both victims were taken to hospital where the man is currently listed in stable condition. The woman has since been discharged.

Police say a suspect was tracked to a nearby residence and arrested a short time later after officers surrounded the home.

Police say the suspect and the victims are known to each other.

A 28-year-old London man has been charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, assault, weapons dangerous and carrying a concealed weapon.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
