ParaPan Am Games Medal Stolen From Athlete's Apartment

A ParaPan Am Games athlete has had her bronze medal stolen from her London home.

Tammy McLeod won a bronze medal in boccia during this year's Toronto games.

According to a Facebook post by the athlete, her apartment was broken into on Friday, August 28.

The unknown thieves took her bronze ParAPan Am Games medal, her Queen's Diamond Jubilee medal, a leather Roots pouch and other sentimental items.

"I am so sad and heartbroken about this," McLeod writes online.

She is asking for anyone with information about the theft to come forward or contact London police.
