Young Man Drowns At Pinery Park Beach

A young man accompanied by friends has drowned in Lake Huron at a beach at Pinery Provincial Park.

Around 1:20pm Thursday, Lambton OPP and EMS responded to Dunes beach.

Constable Travis Parsons says en route, the OPP received information that bystanders had pulled the man out of the water.

The identity of the young male adult is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lambton OPP.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
