UPDATE: Police Seek Suspect In Fatal Shooting

Police are now looking for a suspect wanted in connection with the shooting death of a 49-year-old man in London.

The London Police Service says on Sunday around 5:08am, officers and paramedics were called to 1161 Hamilton Rd. and discovered the man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to London Health Sciences Centre, where he was pronounced dead shortly before 6am.

Police have since identified the man as Steven Patrick Sinclair of London.

Four people arrested at the time of the shooting have been charged with drug-related offences. A fifth person who was also arrested has since been released unconditionally.

Police are now looking to identify a suspect who was seen fleeing the scene following the shooting. He is described as a black male, about 18 to 22 years old, 5'8" tall, with a slim build.

Police say the firearm used to kill Sinclair has not been recovered and the suspect may be armed.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
