Yurek Named PC Health Critic

The MPP for Elgin-Middlesex-London has been given the job of keeping Ontario's health minister on his toes.

PC leader Patrick Brown announced Thursday that Jeff Yurek is the party's new Critic of Health and Long Term Care.

Brown unveiled his shadow cabinet at a news conference in Toronto.

“I’m very excited to take on this new role on behalf of caucus” says Yurek. "I am looking forward to working with Ontarians across the province and will do what I can to hold the Minister of Health and Long Term Care to account on policies coming from this ministry to ensure that all Ontarians are receiving the best possible health care.”

Brown's shadow cabinet also includes Lambton-Kent-Middlesex MPP Monte McNaughton, who will be the Critic for Economic Development, Employment & Infrastructure.
