Man Charged In Masonville 'Upskirt' Case

London police say a man has been arrested and charged after a YouTube video showed what appeared to be an alleged case of voyeurism.

YouTube user Jason N. posted the video on September 15.  It was taken in the lobby of the Silvercity theatre at Masonville place, and appears to show a man pointing a cell phone camera in the direction of a young woman's skirt.

The video went viral, being shared on Facebook and other social media platforms. It has since been viewed over 100,000 times.

London police say a 36-year-old man from Ingersoll has been arrested and charged with one count of voyeurism. The accused's name has not been released, and Constable Frank Figliomeni says it may not be released because of the online reaction to the video.

Jason N. posted another video Thursday, expressing his concern about some of the comments made on his YouTube page and on Facebook.
