Gas Station Robbed At Gunpoint

Police are investigating after two men robbed a London gas station at gunpoint.

The London Police Service says on Saturday around 5:30am, two men dressed completely in black with their faces covered, entered the Petro Canada Gas bar at 1701 Wonderland Rd. N.  One of the men produced a gun and demanded cigarettes from an employee.

The employee was struck with the gun before the suspects were directed to drawers where a quantity of cigarettes were taken. The victim suffered minor injuries during the robbery.

Police say the men left in a vehicle similar to a silver GMC sport utility vehicle.

The suspect with the gun is described as a white male, 20-25 years old, 6' tall, with a thin build.  Police do not have a description of the second suspect.

Police say both men are currently at large and are considered armed and dangerous.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
