UPDATE: Highway Open After Transport Crash

The eastbound Hwy. 402 at Oil Heritage Rd. was closed for over six hours Monday after a tractor trailer crash.

Lambton OPP, EMS and the Plympton Wyoming Fire Department responded to a tractor trailer rollover just east of Oil Heritage Rd. around 7am.

Police say the highway was closed to allow for investigation and cleanup. It opened around 1:45pm, no serious injuries are reported.

Lambton OPP charged three drivers Monday morning with driving past the road closed signs with flares. The drivers face a $110 fine.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
