Two Charged In Sex Trafficking Probe

Two Londoners face several charges after a lengthy investigation into alleged human trafficking involving a London escort service.

London police began the probe of "Fantasy World Escorts" about seven months ago and on November 7 officers executed nine search warrants. They seized over $100,000 in cash, two vehicles, pepper spray, and a stun gun.

Police say two victims of human trafficking were identified and they expect there are more. Because of that, police have set up a hotline (519-660-5842) for victims to call.

Two people were arrested and charged.

Hamad Anwar, 26, and 24-year-old Tiffany Harvey of London are each charged with three counts of material benefit from sexual services, possession of proceeds of crime exceeding $5,000, three counts of advertising another person's sexual services, two counts of trafficking in persons by recruiting, two counts of procuring/exercising control, and trafficking a person over 18.

Police say the website, www.fworld.ca, has been shut down.
