Man Charged In Bank Robbery

London police have charged one man and continue to search for another after a bank robbery in the White Oaks area.

Police say a man walked into the ScotiaBank at 639 Southdale Rd. on Thursday afternoon and demanded cash. He got an undisclosed amount of money and took with another man in a pickup truck. Police later found a gun along with the vehicle, which had been stolen earlier in the day from White Oaks Mall.

Kenneth Rowe, 21, of London was arrested. He is charged with robbery while armed, conspiracy to commit a criminal offence, breach of probation and several firearm related offences.

Police are still looking for the second suspect.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
