UPDATE: Huron Park Man Struck And Killed By Vehicle

Police have identified a 24-year-old South Huron man who died after being struck by a vehicle in Middlesex Centre.

The Ontario Provincial Police says on Friday around 7:35pm, the 24-year-old man was struck by a pick-up truck while walking along Richmond St. N (Hwy. 4) between Eight Mile Rd. and Nine Mile Rd.

The man was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police have since identified the man as Stephen Denomme of Huron Park, South Huron.

The driver of the pick-up truck, a 62-year-old man from Middlesex Centre, was not injured in the collision.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
