Knights Beat Generals 5-2

The London Knights downed the Oshawa Generals 5-2 in OHL action Thursday night.

Despite an opening goal from the Generals in the first period, the Knights took a 2-1 lead going into the second. London continued to distance themselves from Oshawa, scoring two unanswered goals in the second frame. Both teams scored once in the third, giving the Knights a three goal advantage for the win.

JJ Piccinich, Mitchell Marner, Owen MacDonald, Aaron Berisha and Christian Dvorak all scored once for London.

The Knights are back on the ice on Friday to take on the Kitchener Rangers at 7:30pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
