Raid Turns Up Drugs, Handgun and Cash

Drug trafficking charges have been laid against a pair of Londoners following a raid in the east end.

London police, working in partnership with RCMP, searched a home on Bow St. and a vehicle that was stopped in relation to an ongoing investigation on Monday.

Officers seized a quantity of cocaine and crystal methamphetamine worth nearly $55,000, a Colt 45 caliber handgun with multiple rounds of ammunition, and a bullet proof vest.

Approximately $12,000 in cash was also seized.

Gordon Norris, 33, and 25-year-old Narissa Calhoun face a long list of charges including possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possessing a loaded restricted firearm, and storing a firearm and ammunition in a careless manner.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
