Two Dead After Fall From St. Thomas Train Trestle

St. Thomas Police say two adults are dead after a suspected fall from the St. Thomas railway trestle Monday afternoon.

Emergency crews responded to a call shortly after 4:00pm in the area of Sunset Drive and Fingal Line, after reports that two people had fallen from the train trestle.

Police confirm that two adults succumbed to injuries sustained in the fall and foul play is not suspected.  St. Thomas Police and the Regional Coroners Office are jointly investigating the matter.

The names, ages and genders of the victims have not been released.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
