Knights Hammer Spitfires

Mitchell Marner led the Knights to 6-1 victory over the Windsor Spitfires for London's fifth straight win.

On Friday, the Knights took a 2-0 lead in the first period and extended it to 3-0 in the second. Windsor made it on the board with one goal in the third, but London followed it up with three more of their own to crush the Spits for the win.

Marner was top scorer for London with a hat-trick, while Aaron Berisha, Cliff Pu and Kole Sherwood scored one each.

Christian Fischer scored Windsor's only goal, with the Spitfires now riding a four game losing streak.

The Knights return to the ice on Saturday to play the the Ottawa 67's at 7pm. And on Thursday, the Spitfires will take on the Mississauga Steelheads at 7:05pm.
