Convenience Store Robbed At Gunpoint

Police are looking for a suspect after a Thamesford convenience store was robbed by a man armed with a handgun.

The Ontario Provincial Police says on Sunday around 5:45am, the man entered a Mac’s Milk located on Road 68 near Stanley St., threatened the store employee with a gun, and demanded cash.

The man left the store with an unknown amount of money and fled in an vehicle in an unknown direction.

The employee was not hurt during the robbery.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
