Charges Laid In Thamesford Store Robbery

A London teen is among three people charged following an armed robbery in Thamesford.

Oxford OPP say a man walked into the Mac's Milk on Road 68, near Stanley St. after 5:45am Sunday, pulled a gun and demanded cash from the woman working behind the counter.

The man then took off in a waiting vehicle with an undisclosed amount of money.

The employee was not hurt in the robbery.

A 17-year-old London male, as well as 18-year-old Jonathan Landry and 63-year-old Susan Wright, both of East York, are charged with robbery using a firearm and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.

The teen, who cannot be identified because of his age, also faces several other charges including pointing a firearm and possession of a dangerous weapon.

Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to call them at 519-485-6554 or the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
