Over 10,000 2015 Nissan Rogues are being recalled due to a defect in the transmission shift selector assembly.
The defect could cause the transmission to shift out of park and into another gear without pressing the brake pedal. It could also cause the vehicle to change gear positions without pressing the gear shift and/or allow the removal of the ignition key without the transmission being in park.
A recall notice says these issues could cause unintended vehicle movement, increasing the risk of injury and/or property damage. Dealers will make the necessary repairs.
