Suspect Arrested In Assaults

London police say they have arrested a man that they are accusing of hitting three people with a sharp object as he rode by them on a bike.

Police say the assaults happened between December 8 and December 15 in the area bounded by St. George St., Oxford St., William St., and Central Ave. The victims included two men and one woman between the ages of 25 and 71.

In the latest incident, police say the male victim chased the attacker and confronted him before calling police. Investigators looked at surveillance video from the area and were able to identify a suspect.

A suspect was arrested on Tuesday. He's charged with three counts of assault with a weapon.

Police believe there is the possibility that there are more victims. Anyone with any information is asked to call the London Police Service at 519-661-5670.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
