Teen Arrested After High School Threat

London police have arrested a teen after threats were made to harm students at an upcoming school assembly.

Police investigated after several students at Montcalm Secondary School told staff about the threats to harm several people at Friday's Christmas assembly.

A sweep of the northeast London high school by police turned up no explosives or weapons.

A 14-year-old has been arrested. He cannot be identified because of his age.

Officers also seized two pellet guns from the teen's home.

Police are applauding the students who came forward, saying in this situation students did the right thing by reporting the incident to a responsible adult.

They remind all citizens to report any and all suspicious activity.
