London police say a 22-year-old woman was crossing Adelaide St. near Fanshawe Park Rd. around 6:45am Monday when she was struck by a vehicle.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle, a 42-year-old woman, was not hurt.
Police say the vehicle was turning left onto Adelaide St. at the time of the collision.
The investigation is on-going.
SPS Board Chair Kelly Ash said the decision followed discussions with Acting Chief Mike Federico and aligns with practices at other police services.
