Although the incident happened last week, Oxford OPP just released details on Wednesday. Police say they received complaints on December 16 of a vehicle heading west in eastbound lanes of the highway near Hwy. 53 in Norwich Township.

Police alleged the vehicle swerved in oncoming traffic before ending up in the ditch.

Fortunately, no one was hurt.

Michael Pigram, 44, of St. Thomas is charged with impaired driving, dangerous driving, and failing or refusing to provide a breath sample.

He will appear in court in Woodstock on February 16.
