Armed Robbery At Pond Mills Area Restaurant

An armed robbery at a Pond Mills area restaurant has left London police looking for a suspect.

Police say a man walked into the Great Wall Chinese Food restaurant at 771 Southdale Rd. around 8:45pm Wednesday, pulled a gun and demanded money from staff.

The man then took off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was hurt during the robbery.

Police are looking for a man described as 5'5", 150 lbs. He was wearing a black jacket, black pants, black balaclava, gloves, and carrying a black reusable shopping bag.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call police at (519) 661-5674 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
