Clerk Injured In Mugging

A variety store clerk was hurt following a violent mugging in Old East.

London police say an employee of the Markus Variety Store at 477 Dundas St. was getting into his vehicle at 1am Thursday when he was approached by two men.

The male employee was assaulted then robbed before the two men took off on foot.

He suffered minor injuries.

Police are now looking for two men. The first is described as possibly Indigenous, 20-40-years-old, 185lbs, with a medium build, 5'7" - 5'8", long black hair below his shoulders, and a tattoo on his right hand. He is also missing a tooth (lower - middle area) and was wearing a black article of clothing over his face.

The second man is described as 20-40-years-old, approximately 6'', with a heavy build, and was wearing a black jacket with an elastic band around the waist, and gloves. This man also had a black article of clothing over his face.
