After the Knights took a 1-0 lead in the first period, the Firebirds were able to tie the game with one of their own in the second. However, the Knights scored two unanswered goals in the final frame to ensure their win.
Matthew Tkachuk, Cliff Pu and Mitchell Marner all scored one goal for London.
The Knights return to the ice on Saturday to take on the Guelph Storm at 7pm.
