Father And Son Charged In Strathroy Thefts

A father and son are facing charges in connection to a handful of robberies last year in the Strathroy area.

Strathroy-Caradoc police arrested a 41-year-old man and his teenage son from Chippewa on Thursday. They are charged with break and enter and theft under $5,000.

Police say the charges stem from a break and enter at the local TSC Store and thefts at a non-profit used goods store and Mac's Milk in Mount Brydges on September 22.

Further investigation revealed the pair, along with a 22-year-old Chippewa man also allegedly stole liquor from the Mount Brydges Food Mart on April 30.

The 41-year-old man remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing. The teen will appear in court next month.

Police are trying to get an arrest warrant for the unidentified 22-year-old man.
