Police Seek Missing Woman

Almost four weeks after she was last seen, London police have put out a missing person notice about Shelley Desrochers.

The 41-year-old was last seen January 2 in the area of Ernest Ave. and Bradley Ave. Police say they were made aware of her disappearance on January 21 and launched an investigation. According to police, it is now believed that Desrochers was seen around 10am on or about January 5 in the area of Hamilton Rd. and Rectory St.

A release from police says the "circumstances reported in both of these sightings were such as not to raise suspicion or concern."

However, on January 29, she failed to access funds from a bank account as she was expected to. This caused police to become more concerned about her welfare.

Desrochers is described as being white, 5'2", 141 lbs, with a medium build. She has long, straight, light brown hair.

Anyone with any information as to where she might be is asked to call London police at at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Information can also be sent in on-line anonymously to www.londoncrimestoppers.com.
