Boy Injured In Hit And Run

Provincial police say they would like to speak with the driver of a minivan that took off after hitting a boy in Exeter.

Huron OPP were called to Main St. at Sanders St. around 3:30pm on Tuesday, after a boy was knocked to the ground by a white minivan making a left turn. The van driver took a quick look before driving away.

Police say the boy was walking home from school with another boy and had just stepped onto the crosswalk when he was hit.

He suffered minor injuries.

The van driver is described as a woman in her 30s, wearing eye glasses.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
