Police Find Missing Man's Car

London police have found the vehicle belonging to a 68-year-old man missing since Tuesday.

Richard (Paul) Wainwright was last seen around 9am Tuesday in his residence in the area of Wonderland Rd. and Riverside Dr.

Police found the man's 2015 black Toyota Camry in Sombra, south of Sarnia, on Tuesday night but there was so sign of him.

Lambton OPP have now joined the search for Wainwright and are scouring the area near where the vehicle was found.

Wainwright is described as a Caucasian male, 5’11”, 220 lbs, with gray hair and glasses. He uses a cane and drags his right foot when he walks. He was last seen wearing a purple and white checked shirt, a navy blue quilted vest, and navy blue pants

Police and his family are concerned for his welfare.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts are asked to call police at 519-661-5670 or 911.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
